Alex swam very well on Team USA's 4 x 100 free relay at the 2013 Junior World Championships in Dubai, UAE. Alex swam a 56.3 in the 3rd leg. Russia won with a new championship record, Australia touched second beating the US by .01!

 Alex saw her first action in Dubai.  Alex was chosen to swim on a mixed gender relay for Team USA in the prelims today.  She had a conservative start and the relay is the top seed going into tonight.  Alex will not race on the finals relay.  Her next race will be the women's 4 x 100 Free Relay on Friday.     Event 21 Mixed 4x100 LC Meter Freestyle Relay...

Alex raced to a new team record breaking her own freshly minted from prelims @ 26.09 good for 8th place. Nick went the same time as he did in prelims @ 23.76 competing his fourth final of the meet. Great racing, great meet and great season! (Don't forget Alex is slated to leave for Dubai on 8/22 to extend the summer)

Good swimming this morning for SSTY. Alex is 10th in the 200 and Ashlyn and Nick are in the C tonight in the 100 back. Gwen swam a nice 100 m breast at 1:14.2

  Schroeder had three good efforts tonight in the finals.  Alex and Ashlyn swam a bit slower and Nick went faster and nearly got under 58 seconds int he 100 M Back going 58.06.  Ashlyn's prelim swim was a new State and Team at 1:03.68.   Schroeder has three 50 chances tomorrow and hopefully some more swims in the evening.

It's no wonder why this guy is smiling... Nick had two great swims today in one of his favorite events. Nick broke through and swam a strong prelim of 55.20 and then found a way to get under and win the C final tonight in 54.97. Great swim! Speaking of great swimming Ashlyn really had a great fly also swimming to 1:03.33. All in all the group is performing very well.
