At D3 in Indy, Sadie Nennig is leading the Emory women on the Medleys and in her backs and IM.  Kenyon's Ian Bakk scored well tonight in the 100 Breast.  Out west in Seattle, WA Steve Cebertowicz finaled in the 50 and recorded a 19.3 in prelims for UNC.  Mitchell Friedemann is 3rd going into finals tonight in the 100 back.  Go Schroeder! results - webcast

Schroeder is enjoying a great National YMCA Championships in Greensboro, NC.  The team is in 8th, the girls are in 4th and the boys are in 11th with the big relay day coming up tomorrow.  Stay tuned!  Go Schroeder!

The 2012 National YMCA Swimming Championships are in the books.  Schroeder was 7th in combined team scoring, 6th on the women's side and 9th on the men's side.  Alex Meyers raced to a National title in the 200 yd freestyle and established a new team and state record at 1:46.98.  Of the ten possible relays, Schroeder was able to get second swims in all but one!  The athletes were a tremendous group to travel - fun, motivated and very supportive of each other.  SSTY enjoyed a large and supportive group...

Missy Franklin seems to be a very composed 16 year old athlete.  When I was at the Golden Goggles and heard her speak I was really impressed.  Take a look at a really great American swimmer...

To All Area YMCA Swim Teams: The Natalie Kate Bolin Memorial Fund, along with the Oshkosh YMCA and the entire Bolin family, announce the 2012 Natalie Kate Bolin Swim Camp. This year’s swim camp will run from August 6 – 12, 2012 and will again be held in Ely, MN. It is an unbelievable experience for all who attend.  The camp is at no cost to those swimmers selected to participate.  It is fully funded by the Natalie Kate Bolin Memorial Fund.  Your swimmers can find all the information about the camp...

The Walter Schroeder Aquatic Center, Ltd was recently named by the Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation as a recipient of a $100,000 gift to bolster its mission to secure the Walter Schroeder Aquatic Center for future generations of competitive aquatic participants in metropolitan Milwaukee, Wisconsin and the Midwest region. The Bradley Foundation is a private, independent grantmaking organization based in Milwaukee.
