SSTY finished Trials with three strong 50s this morning. Steve led the way at 22.96 and 34th place. Mitchell was 23.48 for a best time and Adam was 23.70. Good swimming!

Alex Raced the 100 M Free in Prelims and Carl swam the 200 M Back. Alex was 57.81 and Carl went a best at 2:03.78. Great job for both athletes at their first Olympic Trials! Alex marching out and Carl after killing it!
Bad news. Jeff Valodine was struck by a car his mother reports while crossing the street. Cindy says he has many broken bones including arm, knee, elbow and rib and is at Childrens Hospital. You may visit anytime.

This morning Schroeder had three athletes racing the 100 Meter Freestyle. Mitchell swam to 51.53, Adam was 51.15 and Steve raced to 49.93 just shy of a second swim tonight. Tomorrow Alex Meyers takes a start in the 100 Free and Carl races the 200 M Back. right: Steve parading out

Adam Mania is 14th and Mitchell Friedemann is 11th after the prelims of the 100 M Back. Mania stuck with his plan to take the race out fast and we think he was the second fastest at the turn. Tonight he'll adjust and both athletes will be racing to be in tomorrow's finals. Watch broadcast on NBC - finals beign at 6:45 PM.

All of the optimism evaporated quickly after two disappointing swims in tonight's semi-final of the Men's 100 M Back event at the 2012 USA Olympic Swimming Trials. Mitchell got off to a great start and looked relaxed and smooth. After the turn (26.50) Mitchell wasn't able to finish strong enough and went 55.25. Adam was up next and he just over corrected from the morning. Adam was out relaxed but too much so at 27.28 and while he swam well on the 2nd 50 he was only able to go...
