  Former Schroeder Masters Coach and standout swimmer Bernie Zeruhn joined five others in a record attempt for a relay across the English Channel.   Read more and obviously Bernie is still good at swimming!

Schroeder swimmers in Age Group 1, Junior 1 & 2, Senior 1 & 2 interested in getting back in before the regular season start on 9/8 are welcome to train for 1.25 - 1.5 hrs beginning 8/18  M, W, Th 4:15 - 5:45 (week of 8/18 & 8/25) 4:00 - 5:30 W, Th  (9/3 & 4)

Alex had a solid prelim at 26.2 so there was a possibilty to go under tonight.  With a bit of Raatz inspired work Alex grabbed 3rd in the B Final and "dipped" under the barrier at 25.98 tonight in a very clean pair of swims.  Great venue and ready for change over day when the big dogs roll into town tomorrow.

Gwen Worlton closed out her USA Junior Championship meet with a fine 200 M Breast.  Gwen raced to 2:39 in prelims and looked smooth and strong in the process!  Alex races the 50 Free tomorrow before the big kids roll into town.

Strong individual and team performances on day 3 of the 13 & Over State Meet have kept Schroeder above the field going into the final day of the meet.   Team records were established by Mason Schoof (400), Katie Hayes (100 Br), 13/14 Boys 800 F.R. Mason, Isaac, Zach and Ben and Kaylyn Schoof in the 100 Back!

Schroeder holds a lead into day 3 in the 13 & O state meet.  Mason Schoof broke his own record in the 200 M free, And Rina Krupsky took down a vey old Hazlewood 400 IM record!  The 13/14 girls set a new team record in the 4 x 100 F.R. and the 13/14 boys erased the team record in the 4 x 100 F.R. to finish a good day!  Great swimming!

Schroeder set of a Medley Relay bomb in the first event of the 2014 WI Swimming LCM Championship.  All four 200 Medleys established new team records and the boys to men set State records in the process.  And 3 of the four captured the Meet Championship.
